The Merlin Rocket is a two person twin hiking development class. It is the boat where Stuart learnt his racing skills, crewing at his local club and then onto doing the competitive 'circuit'. Since then he has returned to the class competing at the major regattas, finishing 4th at the Inland championships and 11th at the nationals. This year Stuart is getting a new Winder Boat, which he hopes will help him achieve his class goal which is to win the nationals in August. We wish him good luck with that and like to thank his sponsors of that class, Speed sails and Super spar masts.
